One of the main advantages of the ProgramaCube^®format is, custom functions, time ranges and count ranges can be created without designing a new module. New software is inserted into our CE, UL recognized, and CSA certified solid state modules. This eliminates three of the most time consuming design steps: designing the hardware, obtaining agency approvals, and aquiring custom components. ProgramaCube^®modules are readily available so the lead time for a custom modification is a fraction of that required for the traditional approach. The ProgramaCube^®offers custom functions in a single input and single output module, with one or two time or count adjustments.

Special Time Delay Ranges
New time delay ranges can be easily created and inserted into standard modules. A special artwork die must be created to print the new reference dial on the cover. Please allow two or more weeks to document the changes, produce the new range labeling, modify the time range, and obtain your final approval.

Special Functions using Existing Program Steps The master software program is designed for maximum flexibility and fast response to requests for new function designs. Building blocks of software routines are combined to create your new function. This allows us to offer free software development for purchase orders of 100 pieces or more. Your purchase order is subject to your approval of the free prototype we supply for testing in your equipment. Once the software and documentation is approved by you, we can begin production. Custom Functions, Time Delays and Count Ranges
250 piece minimum order required - Free design services

This section covers our program for new functions, time delays or count ranges that cannot be created with existing software building blocks. Since the software must be designed from the beginning, these designs require more development time and a 250 piece purchase order. Your purchase order is subject to your approval of the free prototype we supply for testing in your equipment.

Starting a Custom Function Design Project
To start a new time delay range project, contact our technical support personnel. We will ask you about the input voltage, the time delay(s) range(s), the load current the module must switch, the type of adjustment, and any other special requirements.
Our technical support personnel will advise if your requested custom function or time/count range is possible in the ProgramaCube^®format. The lead time for custom design software, an evaluation prototype, and a customer print is quoted for each project. After you test the prototype and approve the customer print, production can start as soon as the final documentation is completed.

Construct a Time Diagram: A time diagram shows the sequence of events in your function. It starts with application of input voltage, transfer of the initiate switch S1 (if used), and the status of the output before, during and after the time delay(s). Finally your time diagram will show how the function is reset.
